WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ Results (4/30/2024):

The show opens up with a video recapping everything that happened on Night One of NXT Spring Breakin’ last week. Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcomes us to the show as new WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams’ music hits and he makes his way down to the ring.

Williams starts off by saying he has talked about winning the NXT Championship, wanted the title and prayed for it. Fans then start a “you deserve it” chant as Williams says there are a lot of people he could thank that helped him get to this moment. Williams then says one person in particular comes to mind and that is Ilja Dragunov. Williams then says Dragunov pushed him to new levels he didn’t know he could get to. Williams then thanks Dragunov for everything he did for him and wishes him luck on WWE RAW. Williams then says NXT is entering a new era and it’s the Whoop That Era. Williams then says records will continue to be broken and history will be made.

Meta-Four’s music then hits and Lash Legend makes her way down to the ring. Legend starts off by congratulating Williams. Legend then says Williams did his thing last week. Williams then holds open the middle rope for Legend and Legend tells Williams he is a gentleman. Legend then says Williams is the hottest Superstar in NXT and he is feeling himself. Williams then says the entire NXT and WWE Universe are rocking with him. Williams then addresses Legend trying to slap him the last time they met each other and says she wants a little taste now that he has some gold around his waist. Williams and Legend then continue to flirt before Legend tells Williams his problem is that his head is in the clouds and he can’t focus. Williams then takes note of the envelope Legend is holding and she tells him that she holds the truth in the envelope. Legend then tells Williams to enjoy his NXT Championship reign because it will come crashing down soon and things will get really hot. Legend then walks off.

We then see Arianna Grace and Gigi Dolin having dinner and discussing tonight’s card.

WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi then makes his way down to the ring for the next match, which is the WWE NXT North American Championship Match and he stares Williams down as he is making his entrance. The Viking Raider’s Ivar then makes his way down to the ring next.

WWE NXT North American Championship Match: Oba Femi (c) vs. The Viking Raiders’ Ivar

The match starts off with Femi and Ivar shoving each other. Femi then hits Ivar with a boot on his midsection, then follows it up with a right hand across his spine. Ivar then hits Femi with a shoulder tackle and follows it up with a clothesline to send Femi outside of the ring. Ivar then hits Femi with a senton off the apron. Both men then get back inside the ring and Ivar climbs to the top. Ivar then looks to fly, but Femi moves out of the way. Ivar then hits Femi with a powerslam, but Femi responds with a backbreaker. Both men then land on the outside and Femi hits Ivar with an elbow on his spine. Ivar then sends Femi crashing into the steel steps shoulder first. Ivar then hits Femi with a crossbody that causes Femi to crash through the barricade.

Femi and Ivar ten teeter on the ropes. Ivar then pushes Femi off the ropes and to the outside, then hits him with a senton off the top. Femi and Ivar then get back in the ring and exchange strikes before Ivar jumps off the ropes. Femi then nails Ivar and goes for a pin, but Ivar kicks out. Femi then delivers a series of uppercuts on Ivar in the corner, but Ivar responds with a spinning back heel kick. Ivar then climbs to the middle rope, but Femi puts Ivar on top of his shoulders and sends him crashing into the mat. Femi then goes for a pin, but Ivar kicks out. Ivar then hits Femi with two more spinning back heel kicks and follows it up with a moonsault off the top rope. Ivar then goes for a pin, but Femi breaks the fall by getting his foot on the bottom rope. Ivar then hits Femi with a senton and climbs back up to the middle rope. Femi then gets Ivar up on his shoulders and sends him crashing into the mat with a Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex. Femi then hits Ivar with a powerbomb for the win.

After the match, Femi celebrates his win as Wes Lee’s music hits and Lee makes his way down to the ring through the crowd to make his surprise return. Lee then stares Femi down.

We then head to the back, where Thea Hail is begging Fallon Henley to come to the ring with her for her match and Henley reluctantly agrees.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Chase U’s Thea Hail vs. Jacy Jayne

The match starts off with Jayne slapping Hail. Hail then returns the favor and Jayne tackles Hail. Jayne then delivers some right hands on Hail and Hail does the same. Jayne then sends Hail crashing out of the ring and looks to hit her with a dropkick through the bottom rope. Hail avoids it and hits Jayne with a tope suicida. Hail then delivers more right hands on Jayne, then climbs to the top and looks to hit Jayne with a crossbody. Jayne then rolls out of the way and hits Hail with a senton.

Jayne then sends Hail crashing into the mat and follows it up with a senton. Hail then responds with a rolling senton and looks to fly off the ropes, but Jayne nails Hail with a neckbreaker. Jayne then looks to hit a cannonball on Hail in the corner, but Hail avoids it and hits Jayne with a headbutt. Hail and Jayne then exchange right hands before Hail hits Jayne with a couple of back elbows and a swinging neckbreaker. Hail then follows it up with a Falcon Arrow, but Jayne rolls her up. Hail then kicks out and Jayne hits Hail with a superkick that sends Hail crashing to the outside. Nyx then tries to interfere, but Fallon Henley pushes Hail out of the way and takes the hit. Hail then gets back in the ring and puts Jayne in a Kimura Lock for the win.

After the match, Chase U looks to leave, but Henley pulls Hail back in the ring and nails her, then heads to the back.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Tag Team Match.

Tag Team Match: Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe vs. The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)

The match starts off with Karl Anderson and Tyriek Igwe. Igwe shoves Anderson. DuPont then tags in and hits a splash on Anderson in the corner. Igwe then tags back in and hits Anderson with a double shoulder tackle with the help of DuPont. DuPont then tags back in and hits Anderson with a couple of right hands on Anderson’s spine and knee. Igwe then hits Anderson with a boot and DuPont follows it up with a splash. DuPont then goes for a pin, but Anderson kicks out.

Igwe and Gallows then tag in and Gallows hits Igwe with a couple of right hands. Igwe then delivers some right and left hands on Gallows’ midsection and follows it up with elbows on his head. Igwe then gets Gallows up on his shoulders. Gallows then escapes and tags Anderson in. DuPont then tags in and nails Anderson. DuPont then follows it up with a shoulder tackle and a dropkick. DuPont then sends Anderson crashing into the mat and follows it up with an uppercut. Igwe then tags in and he hits Gallows with a double chokeslam with the help of DuPont. Anderson then sends Igwe crashing into the ring post and nails him with a spinebuster. Anderson then tags Gallows in and Gallows and Anderson then hit Igwe with the Magic Killer for the win.

We then see a video hyping up the NXT Superstars that were called up during the 2024 WWE Draft. WWE NXT General Manager Ava is then waiting in the ring as she is about to address the NXT Universe.

Ava starts off by saying nothing makes her prouder as General Manager when NXT talent get to show their talents on RAW and SmackDown. Ava then wishes all the talent that were called up the best, then says a new Women’s North American Champion will be crowned at NXT Battleground. Ava then says the inaugural champion will be part of a Ladder Match. Ava then says there will be a combine next week where the twelve participants who impress the most will be part of the Qualifying Matches. Ava then says the six who win those Qualifying Matches will be in the Ladder Match.

Jaida Parker then makes her way down to the ring to let Ava know that she is confident she will emerge victorious in the combine. Sol Ruca then follows and does the same. Arianna Grace, Michin and several more women on the NXT roster then show up and a massive brawl ensues.

We then head to the back, where we see The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) give a pep talk to WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom for their title match against the Authors of Pain later in the broadcast.

We then see Shayna Baszler hold the heavy bag for Lola Vice. Baszler tells Vice they should get some groundwork in since Natalya knows a ton of submissions. Vice then says there is no need since she has the fastest hands in NXT. Baszler then shakes her head.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Ridge Holland vs. Shawn Spears

The match starts off with Spears hitting Holland with a chop and a right hand before he rolls out of the ring. Spears then hits Holland with a sit-out neckbreaker. Spears then wears Holland down with a submission hold, but Holland sends Spears onto the apron. Spears then climbs to the top, but Holland pulls him off and hits him with a Military Press. Holland then sends Spears crashing into the corner, then follows it up with shoulders on Spears’ midsection. Holland then hits Spears with a Sidewalk Slam and a series of strikes, then follows it up with a few knees to the side of Spears’ jaw and gets him up on his shoulders. Holland then hits Spears with a Death Valley Driver in the corner, then follows it up with a Cradle DDT for the win.

We then head to the back, where we see WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez yell at NXT General Manager Ava outside her office and blaming her for not being drafted to RAW or SmackDown. Ava then tries explaining to Perez that champions are protected on their brand and she called her into her office for a reason. Perez then storms off before Ava can say anything more to her. Ava then opens the door to her office and tells someone waiting inside that they will have to talk to Perez later.

We then head to the back, where Wes Lee and Josh Briggs exchange words and set up a match between the both of them. Ivar then shows up and he tells Lee that he is not done with Oba Femi yet.

Paul Ellering then cuts a promo for the Authors of Pain ahead of their tag match that is up next.

The D’Angelo Family is then shown riding around in a SUV and they are planning for Tony D’Angelo’s match for the NXT Heritage Cup.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match.

WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Super Sonic Duo (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) (c) vs. The Final Testament’s Authors Of Pain (Akam and Rezar)

Before the match officially begins, Nathan Frazer and Axiom go straight after the Authors of Pain. Axiom and Frazer send Akam and Rezar crashing to the outside, then hits them both with tope suicidas. Akam gets in the ring and the match officially begins. Akam sends Frazer crashing into the mat, then tags Rezar in. Rezar then stomps on Frazer’s chest, then follows it up with a right hand on Frazer’s head and a knee to his midsection. Rezar then sends Frazer across the ring and tags Akam in. Akam then wears Frazer down with a submission, then tags Rezar in. Rezar then hits Frazer with a German suplex.

Axiom then tags Frazer in and Frazer sends Akam’s face crashing into the top turnbuckle. Frazer then sends Rezar on the apron and hits Akam with a DDT. Frazer then looks to hit Rezar with a tope suicida. Rezar then catches Frazer and Axiom looks to do the same, but Rezar sends Frazer crashing into Axiom. Rezar then tags in and her double teams Frazer with the help of Akam. Akam then tags back in and Authors of Pain look to double team. Axiom then sends Rezar crashing out of the ring when he runs the ropes. Axiom then tags Frazer in and they hit a double enzuigiri. Frazer and Axiom then put Akam on the top rope, but Akam trips Frazer. Karrion Kross then distracts the referee as Scarlett trips Axiom. The referee then catches Scarlett and ejects her, Kross and Ellering from ringside. Authors of Pain then double team Axiom as the referee continues to get the Final Testament to leave ringside. New Catch Republic then appears and hits a double enzuigiri on Akam. Frazer then superkicks Rezar and Axiom pins Rezar for the win.

We then head to the back, where Thea Hail is furious about Fallon Henley betraying her. Ridge Holland then walks in and Andre Chase asks him how he’s doing. Holland and Chase then have a little chat before Holland walks away.

Meta-Four is then shown inviting WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams on Super Nova Sessions if he wants to know what’s in the envelope.

We then head to the parking lot, where Kelani Jordan asks Fallon Henley why she attacked Thea Hail. Henley says she has to focus on herself now.

We then head to the back, where Malik Blade is happy to see Edris Enofé. Blade says the thought Enofé was done for since he broke a mirror last week. Brinley Reece then says she has a way to cheer them up. Reece then brought kittens, but all of them are black and Enofé is terrified.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is the WWE NXT Underground Match.

WWE NXT Underground Match: Natalya (w/ Karmen Petrovic) vs. Lola Vice (w/ Shayna Baszler)

The match starts off with Lola Vice hitting Natalya with kicks. Both women are then sent crashing on a bunch of people on the outside, then they get back in the ring. Natalya then locks Vice in a submission hold, then follows it up with strikes and puts her in an Ankle Lock. Vice then makes it up to her feet and nails Natalya with stomps. Vice then hits Natalya with right hands and follows it up with a kick.

Natalya then hits Vice with a suplex on the outside. Natalya then hits Vice with a kick on her spine, then follows it up with another suplex and stands up on the announce desk. Natalya then looks to drag Vice up there to join her, but Vice trips Natalya and gets her back inside the ring. Natalya then trips Vice and lands some right hands on her, but Vice sends Natalya crashing into the ring post. Vice then hits Natalya with a kick on her chest, then follows it up with stomps on Natalya’s oblique and delivers more kicks on her chest. Vice then puts Natalya in a Triangle and follows it up with elbows on her head. Natalya then powers out of the hold and delivers some right hands on Vice. Vice then puts Natalya in a Kimura Lock, but Natalya makes it back up to her feet. Vice then locks Natalya in the same hold for a second time, but Natalya powers up to her feet once again and ends up on the outside with Vice. Natalya then sends Vice crashing into the floor, then gets her back inside the ring.

Natalya then sends Vice’s leg bouncing off the ring post and puts her in a Figure Four Leg Lock. Baszler then approaches, but Petrovic jumps on Baszler’s back to take her down. Baszler then gets in the ring and Natalya sends her out and puts Vice in a Sharpshooter. Natalya then wrenches it in and Vice looks to tap. Baszler then puts Petrovic in the Kirifuda Clutch on the outside. Natalya then releases the Sharpshooter to help Petrovic and delivers some right hands on Baszler. Natalya then looks to get back in the ring, but Baszler grabs her ankle. Natalya then fights Baszler off, but Vice nails Natalya with a spinning back fist when she gets back in. Vice then delivers some right hands on Natalya and the referee calls for bell after determining Vice has knocked her out.

After the match, we head to the back with WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and NXT General Manager Ava in her office. Ava says she intends to tell Perez who her next opponent is for her WWE NXT Women’s Championship next week and Chelsea Green walks in to reveal herself as the mystery woman as the show comes to a close.
