Wipe-Out Patch-Out dissolves copper , bronze, cupro-nickel, brass fouling in the bore twice as fast and in half the time without brushing. It protects all metal parts including the bore against corrosion & rust. Totally safe for all steels (both stainless and carbon)and all metal plating and is harmless to modern gunstock finishes. (it is not for use on shellac, varnish or oil). Contains no acid and no ammonia. When combined with Accelerator (sold separately)it is the strongest and most effective product currently available on the market.

Patch-Out bore cleaner is the best bore cleaner I have ever used. It will not harm the bore at all. I run three tight patches soaked with Patch-Out through the bore. Then I dribble some Patch-Out in the end of the barrel and hold it up to a light. I turn the barrel around as the Patch-Out slowly flows towards the chamber, coating the bore completely. Then I used bore brush back and forth through the bore a few times. I let it sit at least overnight with the muzzle end a bit lower than the breech. Sometimes I leave it 24 hours, and then a couple dry patches through it. Then to finish I run a couple patches of hoppes no 9 back and forth a few times then several dry patches and the barrel is completely clean. It really works great, and accuracy is excellent.

Works well for me, was recommended to me a few years ago by another shooter. I soak a patch, put it through, wait a few minutes then run a few dry patches, very quick.

Really like it. I've not used the accelerator, works ok for me as is. Word of caution as it states on bottle, it can remove older stock finish, so I always protect stock with rags or such.

I’ve tried a lot of cleaning solutions and I was immediately sold on Wipeout and the Accelerator when I saw Speedy Gonzales using it on his rifle! I tried both on my 6mmBR and the results were great. Took very little time to completely remove the carbon and cooper. I encourage everyone to try these products.

Best barrel care product hands down.
After years of using many different products to clean barrels I ran across Wipe Out Patch Out.
The first time I used it on a barrel I thought was pretty clean. Turns out it was pretty dirty. Using Patch Out has especially improved my cold clean bore shots, brining them in line with rest of the shots in a given group. Give it shot!

easiest bore cleaner I've tried so far and I have tried MANY. Usually one application gets the bore clean, two if it's a very fouled bore. The advertising on this one is true.

After using other products, I tried this based on the recommendation of a fellow high power competitor. It's now the only bore cleaner I use in centerfire rifles. It works as advertised, it's ammonia free, and it's safe for SS barrels. Unless things change, I'm sticking with Patch Out.
