Responsibilities:If you are passionate about data and AI, and want to make a positive impact on society and the environment, then Accenture is the place for you. As a strategic Data and AI Consultant, you will:

  • Leverage your deep expertise in digital and industry consulting to help clients unlock the power of their data and create intelligent applications that enhance customer and employee experiences, optimize operations, and drive innovation.
  • Shape digital transformation strategies and roadmaps for clients by framing client challenges, including value propositions for Security, Data and (Generative) AI, Cloud migration and modernization and other Cloud-enabled offerings.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams of data and AI consultants, industry experts, architects, engineers, and delivery managers to design and deliver end-to-end digital transformation roadmaps that meet the client's needs and expectations.
  • Set client growth strategies and roadmaps with data and AI readiness as the differentiator at the core, tailoring to industry needs and business requirements by aligning with business goals, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on data and AI topics, cloud migration and modernization.
  • Skills:

  • Seeking a skilled Technical Architect with industry consulting expertise designing customized solutions on the Microsoft platform. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of translating client requirements into viable technical solution roadmaps, with strong storytelling and presentation skills. You have enough experience with the Microsoft stack to bring visionary industry innovations to market.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the drivers of value creation and competitive advantage in different industries (e.g., Financial Services, Health, Retail/CPG, Energy, Manufacturing, etc.) with C-Level client relationship building experience.
  • Proven track record of leading or contributing to large-scale, complex digital transformations that align with client growth strategies and topline objectives.
  • Deep expertise in data and AI, including data strategy, governance, architecture, engineering, analytics, and artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Passion for innovation, learning, and solving challenging problems with cutting-edge technologies, with the ability to identify trends and create new business opportunities.
  • Background with solution architecture and building complex, multi-year digital transformation roadmaps for clients, using data and AI as enablers and differentiators.
  • Expertise consulting and solutioning on the Microsoft platform (or similar Cloud provider)
  • A collaborative and agile mindset, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and excellent presentation and communication skills with senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical experts (verbal and written).
  • Strong storytelling and demo skills, articulating the value propositions of technological capabilities, and how these can help clients achieve their goals.
  • Demonstrated commitment, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility and character.
  • Willingness to travel from 25 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
  • What you need:

  • Minimum of 8 years of practitioner experience in strategic industry consulting, with a focus on digital innovation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data and AI consulting, sales, or delivery roles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft cloud technologies, ideally including Azure Data Services, Azure AI Services, and/or Power Platform.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).
  • Bonus points if you have:

  • Preferred certifications: Ideally, you have at least 1 Microsoft certification, such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Scientist Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, or equivalent.
  • About the Role:The Accenture Microsoft Business Group (AMBG) Integrated Platform Team (IPT) is the go-to-market engine focused on selling and delivering strategic cloud plays across our largest clients in North America. These are the Data and AI Plays Accenture is bringing to market on the Microsoft platform, and the IPT leads will need to become experts on these plays and be able to help shape end-to-end digital transformations, stitching these plays together to drive top-line growth for clients and our North America business.

    The IPT Leads will become experts on the following strategic cloud plays:

  • Microsoft Security Copilot and Cost Optimization
  • Mainframe Modernization enabled by GenAI
  • Data Modernization with Microsoft Fabric
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot and other Microsoft Copilot Products
  • GenAI Digital Contact Center and Customer Service Reinvention
  • GenAI Innovation and Custom Copilots
  • AI-Assisted Software Development (Github Copilot)
  • What you will do:

  • Work with the GenAI team and other subject matter experts to develop and deliver compelling value propositions, proposals, and presentations for the Data and AI plays.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities in the NA market, leveraging your existing network and building new relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Collaborate with account teams, industry teams, and solution architects to create and execute account strategies and shape solutioning roadmaps.
  • Support the delivery of strategic consulting and roadmapping engagements for the Data and AI plays, providing thought leadership and tailoring to industry trends, use cases and needs.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and developments in the Data and AI domain, and share your knowledge and expertise with clients and internal teams.
  • More Information: At Accenture and Avanade, we’ve been using Microsoft's existing portfolio of Azure AI services for years to help clients across industries solve problems and drive business outcomes. But more recently, AI really caught the world’s attention when OpenAI published the ChatGPT chatbot and an image generation application DALL-E. Both applications showcased AI capabilities that many people have not seen before.

    So how can we help clients realize the power of Generative AI? At the foundation is data; massive amounts of data. For applications to be useful to an organization, clients need to make it relevant with their own private data. With the huge volumes of data an organization has access to, we can help clients ensure their data estate is modernized and ready to address advanced AI use cases. We can then take the pre-trained foundation models and fine-tune them to optimize for the needs of a specific task, which finally enables us to build useful and relevant custom applications that can elevate customer experiences, empower employees and optimize business processes.

    Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
